What You'll Never Know...

by Ahmed Ali   Jul 25, 2009

Misunderstanding you,
Misunderstanding me.
None of that matters,
Because this poem you will never see.

Because you hate me,
Because you aren't my friend.
You will never read this, You will never know,
How things were, at my end.

My intentions were pure.
My heart spoke a truth.
My design was simple.
As plain as youth.

Because you will never read this,
Since you aren't my friend.
You will never know.
How things were, at my end.

Heart out of place,
Stubborn was the mind.
It's beat is in a race,
Running a track blind.

You will never read this,
So you will never know.
How things came together,
& how they will eventually unfold.

Things you'll never live,
Things you'll never see.
It really doesn't matter,
Since you hate me.
