Standing tall through it all,
Back strait, eyes standing out in the shadows.
His stair burning through my skin,
even from across the room...
Never again,
I had to force myself to think.
His arm around another.
My heart still hurt.
His mind seemed to wonder,
as he looked me dead in the eye.
I forced myself to look away.
I closed my sore eyes as a tear broke loose.
But something you didn't expect;
I had someone now to wipe my tear away.
I had someone and he's here to stay.
He is love and I'm the heart.
He showed me my way when I got lost in the dark.
He held my hand and i held his.
Something you could never do right.
He loves me and he has proved that tonight.
He is wind against my flushed face,
He is a lion stalking at a fast pace.
Never bothering me much,
As long as he's here.
Here with me.
So close...so near.
His heartbeat from his chest rings out;
calling for mine as I lay my head on his chest.
You might have left me,
But surprisingly leaving me was for the best.
Now I've found a love.
One i wish to keep.
Now I've found him,
And love from my heart his his.
Nothing to do with you.
Nothing to make u mad.
Even thou you left leaving questions unasked.
A new lover...my new friend.
One I really hope will be to our end.
