There's No Need for Words When You've Got a Knife

by meganmarie   Jul 27, 2009

Loneliness tearing her insides apart
heartbreak is cracking her whole heart in two
red ruby glistens and falls from her wrists
she opens her mouth but she won't make a sound

ripping and shredding she's dying inside
with knives more like daggers freshly sharpened and cut
heart cracking slowly, all rusted, untouched
the pieces die slowly with each faked love you
just like the water that slips from the leaves
ruby red droplets sting bitter red wrists
but the cries and the screams she so fatefully tries
make nothing, not a whisper in the air of the live

slowly yes slowly she's losing her mind
dreams are her nightmares but when she wakes it's all the same...
