Keeper of My Heart

by Jonathan Coker   Jul 27, 2009

The keeper of my heart,
Is neither rich nor is she poor,
She has eyes that are brighter than the stars,
And they are made of the most beautiful gems,
Her brown hair is made of the softest clouds,
And her skin is even softer,
Her hand is a holy shrine,
For which my sinful hands do touch.

The keeper of my heart,
Is kind and gentle hearted,
She has a heart that is purer,
Than a hundred percent gold,
And even purer than the finest light,
Her lips are made of irresistible rubies,
That never lose their shine,
And taste sweeter than all the sweets combined.

She is fair,
And when she is near,
I can't help but smile,
She brightens up my darkest days,
With her beautiful smile,
And when she smiles,
The world is at peace,
And all is as it should be,
And when she touches my hand,
I feel anew and I feel love flowing in my veins.

She makes my heart burn bright,
With passion and love,
Like a raging fire at night,
And I will do anything I can,
Just to hear her Sweet laugh,
And to be with her.

She means more to me,
Than all the money, jewels,
And treasures in the world,
And I know that i am young,
But I truly believe,
That after all my searching and all the pain,
I have finally found the keeper of my heart.
