Teenage Broken Relationship

by Izzy Hetzler   Jul 28, 2009

The dancing moon in the sky above
And the singing crickets in the dead of night
Remind me of when we were so in love
Instead of now, which all we seem to do is fight

Life seems to sink quickly,
We are seniors now and life should be good
Yet our relationship seems sickly
I do not know if were doing all we should

Are we giving up before we begin
I ask this every night without an answer
I search around but it is within
I am the writer, the story teller, the dancer

This is a teenage broken romance
That has ended like so many before our time
We prepare in our fighting stance
Wondering if romance should be a crime?
