Comments : Life On Paper

  • "Your words tug on my crumples.
Your voice pulls on my creases.
    Your touch tapes my rips.

Until there's nothing left of my paper
    Except one open sheet.

    One beautiful sheet.
Just as you had always imagined.
    Full of things clearly written.

    My Hopes, Dreams, and Aspirations

    And-
    Just like that.
    You see me.
See me for all that I am.

    Yet, you like it.
    You are not afraid.
    You yearn for more."

I absolutely adore this poem!! Just the use of imagery is really amazing, to describe everyone written down on paper. So when it's all straightened out and mended, they can see your true beauty.

Aw! Well thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's actually one of my least favorites.

Lovely poem, it thought it was a great way to discribe how we need other people
