What more can I say then this was absolutely beautiful. You know I have never come across a writer on this site who writes with elegance like you do. Each lines of your poetry hold grace and it is gorgeous how you allow your reader to feel this even when you are writing about a tupic which is on the verge of heart break.
"a man who could swallow the moon
and sputter stars
with all the charm
of a magician"
To me those lines were lovely, but at the same time the use of words such as sputter and swallow are harsh so I love the fact that this stanza was beautiful yet venomous at the same time. I like the alteration.
"Yet I wait, naked
with all the impatience
of a woman
who knows not differently,
a vulnerable flame
flickering violently
in the arms of danger"
The stanza above was by far my favorite.. I love the harsh violent tones you use throughout it, and the truth behind this was intense. It is true many women fall into the arms of a vindictive man, although is too blind or just doesn't want to see it.
The ending was brilliant, I like the ironic twist you left. Well done. A favourite from you.

Wow, that really symbolizes love to me! The insecurity and need hoping not to be rejected.
