I love you..it's that simple

by Lady Nik   Jul 30, 2009

You have been my mornings
my days and my nights.
The soft green grass beneath my feet
to the rolling blue sky.
I see you everywhere.
My heart won't let you escape
my soul won't let you fade.
My years alive have not been many
only seventeen.
But the way I love you makes me
feel like I have known you for centuries.

You have been my ups
and my tumbling downs.
My cute childlike smile
to my feeling too much pain frown.
I feel you everywhere.
My thoughts of you never leave
my feelings for you I now plead.
Your words have taken me to a place
where only dreamers dwell.
A place so full of happiness
it makes me big heart swell.

You have been my best friend
my complete other half.
My God sent savior
sent to make me laugh.
I hear you everywhere.
My ears love the way you speak.
My body loves the way you make it feel weak.
I had my doubts about this
but now I see the truth...
I am madly over the top
floating on clouds in love with you.

It's that simple...

Well every word you wrote here I can completely relate to and I've felt the same way for a long time. No matter what we do or what we see it always reminds us of the person we love. Probably because we can never stop thinking about them and they never leave our minds. Excellent imagery and flow 5/5
