My heart aches since you left me,
When I recall how I was on my knee,
Begging you not to leave me,
My heart aches when I think about you.

I still don’t know why,
Please tell me why you went away,
Turning my bright world into grey,
It aches when you are not close by.

I miss the smile and the dimples,
The natural scent that was so simple,
The bites of love we used to nibble,
It aches that you faded away in ripples.

You have dominated my thoughts,
That I loved you, I have no doubts,
More to come I had lots,
It aches me that it was all to naught.

That to me you were special,
