Faith?

by LitxUpxWithxLife   Aug 2, 2009

Walking down this same old familiar path.
Doing my best at trying not to laugh.
How do people keep faith in God time and again.
When day after day we see the cruelty in men.

Violence, death, and murder is the creed.
Using credit cards and mirrors to fill their need.
Breakfast off a mirror, and dinner off a spoon.
Bouncing off the walls like they're a Loony Toon.

Robbing the liquor stores and banks in your hood.
Doesn't that gun just make you feel good?
Who are you fooling trying to act tough?
Don't you realize we've had enough of that stuff?

Walking down this same old familiar path.
Doing my best at trying not to laugh.
How do people keep faith in God time and again.
When day after day we see the cruelty in men.

Bring on the alcohol, bring on the weed.
Bring on all the drugs to forget your dirty deed.
Run and hide as long as you like.
But God will have your head on a pike.

Walking down this same old familiar path.
Doing my best at trying not to laugh.
How do people keep faith in God time and again?
When day after day we see the cruelty in men.
