Nobody Takes me for Who I Really am

by kellie goldman   Jun 14, 2004

Nobody takes me for who I really am,
they all think I'm happy as can be.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
they don't see the inside of me.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
with all this pain built up inside.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
they act as if they've tried.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
I can't take this anymore.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
my heart, it feels so sore.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
there's been too many lies.
Nobody takes me for who I really am,
please kill me, I want to die.

I was so touched by your poem, hun... Im adding you to my favorites... As you read your poems you can say they come from the bottom of your heart... Hun, you're talented... I know how it feels when someone wants you to be someone you're not... I know how it feels that those who call themselves <<your friends>> dont really know what you're all about... I know, though, that when someone gives him/herself the chance to get to know you, they'll find this great person, worthy to be around... Hun, keep up the good work, I just wanted you to know how much I like your poems... You're a great writer...
