A Friendship Ends

In my life i lost many things,
But there is one that has most sorrow to bring.
Its not the loss of my keys, purse or car,
Its when you lose a friend, you lose a star.

Somethings just aren't meant to be,
And this might be hard to accept easily.
Although you try with alll your might,
There are some things in life you cant put right.

So you lost a friend, you lost a star,
This is something that will leave a scar.
But for every star that loses its light,
The night reveals a handful that burn much more bright.
