The Twist of Life

Assuming that all is fine,
a common mistake of the mind,
heading forward in belief,
though no sight ahead of relief.

Struggling to comprehend,
a miss without an end,
holding tightly to something dear,
a reaction that occurs to fear.

All paths have not yet been sought,
nor can a persons love be bought,
changes cease to persist,
still, I cannot resist.

True love I hold for you,
though at times you make me blue,
these facts you cannot deny,
stop living your life as a lie!
