The Right Moment

by Dacey Flame   Aug 4, 2009

Angst a million miles to the sky
It flies like fireworks from bones
Still stiff with growing pains

Water rhythmically sexes the rocks
You find the ocean so comforting
To me, anxiety piles like sands of time
With a heartbeat like a hurricane

I lean and lean, like the tower
But never far enough to crumble
I never wash smooth as these rocks
Every inhale seems to take my words with it

It's never the right moment
For this, anyways
