I know I'm not the greatest,
Sometimes I see what I want to,
And sometimes I get mad for stupid reasons,
But I just wanted to thank you.
There was one time,
When I treated you wrong,
But through it all,
You came along.
People say things about you,
That you may not like,
But remember whatever they say,
Has never and will never be right.
I don't know why I'm writing this,
But I just wanted to say thank you,
Because looking back,
You're a real friend, strong and true.
You're not and never were mad,
For that stupid mistake I made,
And I'm hoping that with more happy times,
My wrongs will fade.
So once again I'd like to say,
I'm glad you stuck it through,
Because you make me a better person,
Just by being you.
