Blinded by What I Saw

by Kemmy Rose   Aug 4, 2009

I look and I see beauty.

I stare and I see perfection.

I seek and I adore.

I glare and I am hypnotized.

I swore that I could be blind.

That no matter what, I would

always see that you are beautiful to me.

I was wrong.

You look and despise.

You glance and deprive.

You stare and see flaws.

You glare and see what is wrong.

You are not the person,

I thought you were.

You are the exact opposite

of who you should have been

Then truth.

I was blind.

You were hidden.

In a perfect diguise.

But I finally saw through,

before it was to late.

Before we got in the car,

Before we wrecked.

I am disappointed you acted that way.

I am sad that we can't be.

But I am not upset at all,

That Mr. Miller took your keys.

Obedience is a lesson you need to learn,

as well as respect, and responsibility.

No matter how long I have known you-

nothing would have prepared me for

being in that dangerous car.

You need to care for the ones around you

and not just yourself.

After you have learned these things...

I might as well give you another chance.

But I am not going to waste my time

sitting on the side lines.

I am not going to wait for you.

So next time you want to yell- leave the room.

And everything will be fine.

I thought I felt the way I did...

but the feeling must have been "false".

*These are my feelings.

I leave them for you to dwell.

Any other questions,

Just ask- I will always be here!*
