Loved this. I watch the Animal Planet all the time and love the big cats when they are on. Cheetahs and leopards are fast but the lion is the biggest and will always be king. It is so sad when they are caged and taken away from their natural habitat. Well done.

This was really interesting, loved the perspective - from an animals point of view. Such a sad touch to the poem to see the lion locked up in its cage and not able to wander about. A well written poem. :]

This was a fun poem, good vocabulary and written from the animal's point of view, which was unusual.

Through the bars people stare at me
What a mighty meal they'd be

I have often seen them looking at the crowd this way, pacing to and fro and it was a really scary sight to see.
