One day, at one time, somewhere in some place,
some guy felt this way.
I've often wondered if you even bother to read.
These humble words, that flow from within me?

One day I'll think back and reminisce,
to that day when we first kissed.
To that autumn night when into the night
I held you in my arms.

late at night.
When, I teased you, about the dominant genes
as you talked about your dad.
When at 6:00 AM I laid my head upon your chest,
and heard you heart's rhythmic pace.
One day when I'm in the jungle, desert
or wherever it may be.
I'll sit and wish I had that picture
that you never gave me.
I hope you one day meet your
charming prince.
That he is everything you have
ever wished him to be.
That you have your beautiful wedding
like how you once told me.
That you live happily ever after
and you never think of me.
I've often wished this was just some dream,
that tomorrow I'll wake up and sing.

at times I once did.
I once wrote, "I'm not the first nor

It's happened before and just like then;
slowly I'll get over it once again.
