Just, yesterday I considered you my friend.

by Alex   Aug 5, 2009

Just, yesterday I considered you my friend.
Today came and like the setting sun you disappeared.
Now I sit here experiencing this solemn end.
Tomorrow comes and we are strangers in the wind.

Just like a beggar in the street, I asked thee.
Simple pictures and another chance to meet.
Must be too much to ask but it's alright with me.
One day I won't be like a beggar, begging in the street.

And these humble words I write will be some memory.
Yet, the time we shared will always be with me.
For me those few hours my world stopped its trajectory
As I held you in my arms, I was happy as can be.

A voice, a friend or some screen name, I don't even know what you considered me.
Maybe in your eyes - I was just "another guy that came to visit me."
