Your voice, your laugh and some message from cyberspace.

I know I'm not the first nor last to feel this way.
It's not your smile, because we have never even met.
I wonder when this bubble will bust and you'll be on your way.
Away, far away where I'll be another person on the internet.
It all began with a plain and simple "HI" on MSN.
You struck me as different right there and then.
Many months passed and I never heard from you again.
But as if faith had it, our paths crossed at summer's end.

Many are the nights I sit and wonder, "Should I feel this way?"
I once read that love knows no boundary, age or race.
I'm here in Houston, TX four hundred miles away.
Your voice, your laugh and some message from cyberspace.

And a few text messages from you every now and then.
My heart whose love is imminent, though it's just a voice on the other end.
