Missing You...

by James   Aug 8, 2009

I miss the way you looked at me
When I made you smile
I miss seeing you sad at work
So I cheered you for a while

I miss how we would stay up late
Just to send a text
I miss the movies that you own
You always picked the best

I miss how you would hold me tight
I miss your addictive smell
But here I am, all on my own
You condemned me to a hell

I long for you every night
In the bitter cold
I'm wishing for your warm embrace
That I never would find old

I hate how you now look at me
You make me feel like glass
I loved the way you joked with me
You would always like a farce

I hate how you won't look at me
You tense when I walk by
I miss how you could motivate
You made me want to fly

I miss how you would always say
"I love you more, with every day"
I miss the way that we did kiss
And that, by far, I'll always miss
