Transcribing You In Writing

by Soulful Ensemble   Aug 8, 2009

I breathe you in the cypress oak
Its every day's hello.
I wake;its faded; cloaked
The dream is only blurred though.

Your words; some special token
I try to remember what was spoken.
Transcribing you in writing
Seems futile; but exciting.

Its raining; even lightning
But we are never fighting,
Only looking for love's hand
To hold so we can walk on sand.

Whispers in my ear; secret love,
Cup my hand into a tender glove.
You always speak sincerest
I want to kiss your hand;the dearest.

Wanting you for months;like wanting rain
To shower dying things, dried up in vain.
I want you in the morning; love with breakfast,
A day should always feel like it should last.

I'll pick the moon out of the stars for you,
For emotions that feel right and true.
Many months have passed; I can't feel blue,
Knowing love was made for two.

Special words for you and me;
A tight bond that can't be seen.
Time has gone and passed so fast
But bonds like ours are meant to last.

I was lying to myself,
Saying I loved somebody else
When this whole time what's true
Is that I'm in love with you.
