Abscence of the heart

by Faith   Aug 12, 2009

Faded words and games we play
at the point now where im begging you to stay
but you have the upper hand when it comes to strength
weak you know i am under the distance and length
trials and tribulations bring confusion and contemplation
please dont leave
im searching in every corner of this haunted house
only to find the webs of what once remained
cant believe the foolishness was the only thing i claimed
So stranded now to find my own and loose my hurt and fear
im going to do this alone.. and now i see thats clear
dont take the credit when i rise above
dont tell me the reason for your abscence is your love
my heart is ripped in layers each one melting without you touch
wasting away to nothing a river without a rush
but keeping my head above water is something i will learn
its my time.. my war... my turn
i miss you and my heart runs deep
picked a critical moment to leep
but im not afraid of anything the world will throw
just makes me a little tougher
wish i could run away but that would make it rougher
so let me close up these thoughts that burn inside my mind
closing to the world.. no problems im fine
just walk away and leave me here
even though once upon a time i stayed
now that im in your shoes playing the games you played
i must have been blind maybe i too should have left
we wouldnt be here now where you walk away and with it take my breath.
