This place is dark and cold
my once red beating heart
is now black and old
it ages by the minute
i feel no pain
for my life itself is pain
and my body is immune to it
there is no daylight where i am standing
for there is nothing but rain clouds
filled with lightning
the thunder vibrates my ears
there is no one to fear in this world but myself
for i am the only one in it
im alone in my world
for i dont open to anyone
its the only way i feel safe
