In That Beautiful City...

by Dreamofolwin   Aug 13, 2009

In that beautiful city...
Where there's never any night.
Everyone shall look pretty,
When conformed to His sight.

With no need of earth's sunlight,
In that beautiful place...
Our eye's shall behold Him,
And look in His face.

We will see the deep nailprint's,
They pierced through His hand.
And we always will wonder,
Why it was so planned.

We'ill worship and wonder,
For all eternity...
Why God's Son took the judgement,
Was punished for me.

Yes, forever I'ill praise Him,
For He has ransomed me...
A hopeless sinner,
Who was condemed to be.

Good job Olwin. Truer words haven't been spoken. We lose track of whats important . Poems like this bring us back to what we need to focus on

A great write, I agree with Sylvia, we should always praise God for he's always there for us. I am nodding my head in agreement with your poem, each word was well written.

We should all praise God, He above all is our best friend and will always be there for us. Well done.
