Rebirth (Haiku Chain)

by Sylvia   Aug 14, 2009

Spring rains renewing,
washing away winter's grime,
rebirthing all things.

Flowers are blooming,
presenting colors,
brightening landscape.

Birds, bees, butterfiles,
scurrying about their work,
giving us beauty.

A charming set of haiku's. Just what we need after such a severe winter.

Very evocative of spring - and summer. I'm sorry to see it go - Seems like it only just got here!

    ^Spring rains renewing,
    washing away winter's grime,
    rebirthing all things.^

What beautiful picture painting imagery to start off the piece.

    ^Flowers are blooming,
    presenting colors,
    brightening landscape.^

The second line has only 5 syllables and should have 7.

    ^Birds, bees, butterfiles,
    scurrying about their work,
    giving us beauty.^

Nature sure is beautiful. Soul cleansing, refreshing and relaxing and that is the feelI get from this piece. Nice job!

Beautiful work, I loved how you said the flowers brightened up the landscape, that was my favorite line :) Well done yet again!
