So my love here is a poem I wrote for you
I must ask you to not say a word until I finish
What I have to say is important
For these feeling I have just won't diminish.
I love you more than I love life itself
When I hear your name I smile
If I set eyes to your face I can't help but beam
Each time I feel your hands to my skin I know you're worthwhile.
Every night I yearn for your comforting voice and contact
Your heart is so soft and kind to me
Words so gentle and laugh so easy
You are meant for me, I think it's easy to see.
Some love grows old
Often love can go sour with time
Not often is love like ours
Where it won't go from a sweet orange to a sour lime.
We're together forever
This I know for sure
I've never felt love like this
Our love is so pure.
Hold me tight and don't let me go
In turn I'll grasp your hand and hold steady
You and I have a future
I've finally become ready.
I'm ready to tell you I love you forever and always
I know for a fact we're an undying package deal
We will never split if times get rough
Together we can heal.
Now I've said what I have to say
My heart is jumping for your hug
So why don't you stop staring at me and do that
so I can be as snug as a bug in your rug?
