Ghost Of The Night

Listen people to a story of old that is as old as the yonder pecan tree this story was told to me long ago and takes place in ancient days when dragons ruled the skies and night was just like day

One day there were three merchants that when on a quest because they thought it was best they were Demon the rough and brave, Draco the wise and tough, and Dark the courageous
When these people came your way its best to get out of their way

Their quest was to slay the wicked dragon and save a damsel in distress they loaded there horses with their axes, swords, shields, spears, and food and then they were off

They rode for days, weeks, and months they climbed the Treacheries Mountains to reach the dragon’s lair which was high on top of highest peak

When they went into the lair they looked around and all around them were the bones of the brave

Then out of nowhere the dragon appeared and flew with its jaws open and its claws out aiming for the merchants
But they dodged the dragons attack and drew their sword and the battle began

Demon leads the battle with a strike to the dragons tail, but missed and was thrown against a wall stunned at the sight of their fallen comrade Dark and Draco’s blood began to boil they slashed at the dragon and fought hard but they were no match

While the battle is raging Demon wakes up and goes to the damsel and cuts her free of the ropes binding her to a stone
Then he joins back into the battle and he almost kills the dragon but before the finale blow was struck the dragon turned them into ghost

So when you hear whispers in the night remember the ghost of the night
