Racism (Octelle)

by Sylvia   Aug 15, 2009

Racism is alive and well.
Racist have earned their place in hell.
Words spoken dripping with hate,
stony silence seals our fate.
Raise your voices now, speak out,
men are equal, we must shout.
Racism is alive and well.
Racist have earned their place in hell.

Wow, i think this person bhaskaryya, is angry with his ownself and i am sure he had not seen the world or ignore what's taking place. Anyway everyone is entitled to his/her own ideas but i have to defend this one.

Anyway, sylvia this is so true. I have seen and heard other human being treated so unkind. Some people find things that is different strange. Very well done on a sensitive subject 5/5, kel.

Boring...well structured but dull...verbose but lacks imagery. tells but doesn't show. preachy but without a personal touch. grammatically incorrect. cliched. (didn't vote. don't believe in it.)

This poem of yours reminds us of the brutal reality that still lingers, Sylvia. Rarely do people touch upon this subject nowadays, though they think racism has slightly disappeared, it is existent more than ever. You are brave to have touched upon this subject in a light, smooth and straightforward manner. Peace, W.
