Hes The Blade.

by Felicia Tursi   Aug 16, 2009

This pain is just too much,

This pain you cant touch.

It dwells in the worst,

Until it decides to burst.

It liquefies our hearts,

Tears your skin apart.

Leaves scars upon you,

When you thought it was true.

Slices away at words,

Like knives and swords.

Hard to live this way,

Hard to throw it away.

Hidden with long sleeves and broken lies,

Can see it in your eyes.

Feeling scratches to feel existence,

You've felt great since.

Hoping no one finds out,

Living in a world of doubt.

Fake smiles and pretty make-up,

Sometimes you want to give up.

A highly kept secret,

Something you fret.

As tears roll down your face,

The reason you cant trace.

Red tissue seizes the flow,

Its so obvious, they don't even know.

Hides the razor in a tin,

Compromises with a sin.

No one knows where shes been,

Says she wont do it again.

Says shes done,

But still theres no one.

The pain drifts back,

She knew shed never lack.

So she cuts for strength,

She finds no strength.

She cuts for happiness,

She finds no happiness.

She still hurts inside,

She manages to hide.

For her, hes the blade.

No scars have yet to fade.

Shes learning to let go,

But she wont let him know.

How bad hes hurting her,

How much hes killed her.

Her life is over.
