Corruption of the mind

The loneliness corrupts the mind
accepting anything that comes at you
it could be someone who wants your body
you'll give it gladly
but when you wake up in the morning
you realize its only a one night stand
then your back to being lonely again
you soon lose your way and values
how you want to be that special one
but now yall settle for anyone
soon you won't even look for love
you'll lower your standard again
doesn't matter if there taken
you'll want them to forsake'em
doesn't matter if there ugly
a few drinks and yall call'em honey
being without someone changes you
but you have to remember one thing
you set a standard because you
believed at one point you were worth
keeping the standard, so don't let
the word lonely rule your life
put up a Heck of a fight
