Fade Into Reality, Our Hope Is A Fatality

by Indian Comma Bean   Aug 17, 2009

Emotion drips off placid skin,
Glazed eyes capture time.
Lies fill the walls with photographs,
Promises lie bloodied in the mind.

Empty spaces cast a shadow,
While the pain begins to decorate.
Memories sketch a tragedy,
Yet the feeling remains numb.

Weeping nights begin to fade,
As the heart forgets the past.
Dreams write stories to be lost,
Nightmares walk the streets with us.
