Tears Of Sorrow

by Nate the philosopher   Aug 20, 2009

As my heart slowly crumbles
into many small pieces

I let out my tears of sorrow
i cry untill the end of time

She is what held me together
keeping my heart from breaking

even now i still cry
knowing she will never hold me

she will never kiss my lips
i will never feel her soft touch

My love for her was my life
now my life means nothing

As days go by
i only hope to hold her one last time

Before the end of time
Before the end of my time

What repels, is not meant to be. Where pleasure is vast, doom is known. He who brings you pain, helps you learn. The right answer, solves a problem.

Hey i never commented on this...

alas, this poem about the longing for love is indeed quite mournful. its like knowing that i would never eat a oatmeal rasin cookie ever again. that might seem like a stupid comparisson... unless you knew how much i LOVE oatmeal rasin cookies.

To have loved and lost is a very hard experience for the heart... this I know. You have given us a most touching write... yes, your pain and anguish can be felt, Lol. But I too hope and pray that in time you will meet someone who your will fill your heart again, with love and warmth :) Yes... it can happen... and I hope for you it will.

    Best wishes... An Excellent write,
    Olwin.
