My Soul

I'm picking up the pieces of my soul
so one day once again ill become whole
out of all of the things that happened to me
its time that i be at one set my soul free
i wont let this pain hurt me no not anymore
I'm kicking all the hatred out of the door
and all of these tears in my eyes
i promise myself some day they will dry

no one has ever asked me about my dreams
i want to be the happiest person you ever seen
since being depressed has broken me down
i use to think theres nothing left of me now
I'm just now regaining my strength back
my life was hard but ill forget the past
its time i spread my wings and fly
i promise myself i can make it in time

theres not a doubt in my mind
that I'm defeated by what we call life
