The Mind

The mind is a beautiful thing to waste
Why are many not taking heed
The dropout rate has never been so high
Train you mind everyday and read.
The mind can be your friend or enemy
Take your time and think it through
The decision is solely yours
Unfortunately the ones that do; are so few.
The mind can solve the most complex of problems
Take care of it because it can bruise
Be warned it is slow to heal
And that's something you don't want to lose.
If you lose your mind
It can be difficult getting it back
You will never be the same again
Get plenty of rest and hit the sack.
The mind needs love and oxygen
The love part I can show you with hugs
You need to discipline yourself
And remember, Just say "NO" to drugs.
