Well done. It is difficult to tell who wrote what, as it should be in a collab. I love the story of the poem as well. A sailor's fate, loving the sea and a women, difficult choice to make between the two. Good work from both of you.

'The look of love and a parting kiss to last forever
forever entwined amidst the tide and blowing gale'
^Didn't like the repetition of forever here so close together.. it kind of threw me off a bit.

'"Be well my love, don't worry, I'll be back soon"'
^This gave me goosebumps.. this was soo soo sad!

'A sailors fate it is to leave his lass alone again,'
    ^Sailor's should have an apostrophe.

This was very well written wow.. you two did a great job. I'm not familiar with Frank's style of writing so I honestly cannot say I know who wrote one.. but you both did a great job! Awesome.

I agree with MelodyAnn... this poem truly puts me in a dreamy state even though it has a sad ending. I think the both of you have done an excellent job. Hope to more collabs from the both of you in the future;)

Very, very well done both of you. What a beautiful imagery you creates. It is so vivid that i could actually see the image like i'm watching a sad love story. It also reminds me of the sailors who'd left their love ones behind and knowing there might not be a tomorrow, but such is life. Again Very well done. This poem merits a win, i will surely vote for it. 5/5, kel.

Well done. A brilliant write that gives a vivid picture in the readers mind, that of a sailor leaving the woman he loves to go out to sea. I thought it was beautifully worded and expressed... and an exdellent job from you both! Well done :)

The story behind it, one can close their eyes and envisioned it as it unfolds in every word of every stanza.
    Fantastic job by you two.
