MAMA'S LOVE

by desleeds   Aug 25, 2009

With Mama's heart brims over the sonatas

Of unwavering love that labors to no bounds

And never stops giving all she has for me

It is a love that shields me from impairment

With arms enfold me as warmth for coldness

And kiss so tender like a rose to my cheeks.

In darkness the love illumines an alleyway

A shaft of light that hides the dusk from me

Not even to see the shadow of lonesomeness

Never my whims and irascible self get her down

Her soft touch exudes inestimable understanding

With her heartbeat that pulses her love and care

Each day the love is a drop of sweetness

A nutrient that infuses in me a fortified mien

Suffice to mold a youngling into virtuousness
