Gunslingin' Jack that dastardly ol' villain
Had a posse of twelve
They rode from town to town
Stealin' and ransackin' 'tever they could
At noon they'd challenge the best shot in town
At sundown they'd ride out to their camp
Dig up some grub
And share tales of their plunders
All twelve sat 'round a cracklin' fire
But not Gunslingin' Jack
He'd perch atop his trusty steed
Watchin'
Watitin'
For the sherrif to find 'em
Ol' Jack never slept with two eyes closed
Not til he met Miss Kara
Miss Kara was a soft girl
With porcelain skin
And chocolate hair
She was so perfect
Any man would commit a sin
Just to be with her
Ol' Jack fell hard for Miss Kara
Was so ornery he refused to leave her town
His posse insisted
Beg
Pleaded
And cried
But he never budged not even a little
His heart had been stolen
An' he didn't want it back
At high noon he challenged the best shot in town
And said "if I win, I take Miss Kara with me, if I lose I leave and never come back"
It turned out the best shot in town was the Sheriff
The sheriff said that was fine and he placed his hand over his holster
Ol' Jack was taken aback
He blinked once
Twice
Looked at Miss Kara who waved at him
When he looked back at the Sheriff
He saw the metal of the pistol glinting 'neath the sun as the sheriff pulled it from his holster and pulled the trigger
Ol' Jack didn't have time to move.
The bullet struck his chest and he went down
Miss Kara was by his side in an instant
So was the sheriff
"Sorry Ol' Jack, but no dang villain's gonna take my youngest girl from me."
