Oh mirror, mirror, on the wall

by Marie   Aug 26, 2009

Oh mirror, mirror on the wall
who is the most pathetic of all?
and so the women in the mirror cries
and well myself i begin to despise

the dark figure i see
has chained me and wont let me free
oh how lovely i do look and how blissful i do speak
but inside I'm tormented.. fully, truly weak

and i see the reflection imitating me
is this what everyones eyes see?
just another piece of meat
Appearances do deceit

oh i wish you could open my soul
so you wouldn't judge and give back what you stole
give back my peace, my bliss, my air
because I'm not staying in this mirror, it wouldn't be fair

and one day my fingertips shall meet the glass
and i shall be myself at last
not drawn into this world of lies
and where the truth always dies

but myself and only i
when the reflection shines back it shall be mine

Sooo damn beautiful real touching in the inside the mirror knows that what exist out side is just the reflection of both unexisted souls
