I love to watch the clouds, during day, but also when it's night. My son wanted to be an astronomist for a long time, so he had me accompany him on his nightly adventures and I watched the sky by night on many, many occasions. It has such an aura of exitement to it..the fresh, crisp air ( especially in winter), the moon, stars and the clouds, illuminated is a really spooky way, lol.
Yes, the sky is an infinite source of wonder, amazement and entertainment:)

Sylvia, I love how you write about the clouds playing hide and seek with the moon. I love night time... and the feeling it gives. I enjoyed reading this... though it ended with a feeling of sadness.

what a simple playful poem. The imagery is vivid and makes a person long for the moonlight .

Ooo this was really pretty. I must agree with everyone else very great imagery. Loved the description of the naked tree limbs as well as how great you described the clouds, the main focus of the poem. The moon sleeping.. too many good lines in this poem, can't pick my favorite, cause they were all equally amazing! Great imagery, great poem, well done!

At first i thought this was a spooky poem not until i read about the clouds being bored from the sun. I would prefer the sun to play hide and seek with the clouds rather than the moon..Scary!..Great reciation about the clouds though..
