How You Remind Me

by Jenni Marie   Aug 27, 2009

There was a time I thought love didn't exist
Now that feeling flees whenever we kiss
For finally I've found my most perfect lover
A whole new world waiting to be uncovered

Gazing at you seems to always remind me
That I was blinded for so long, simply couldn't see
It's true, sometimes I still close of my heart
But it hurts even more whenever we're apart

All I have to do is simply glance your way
My entire body lights up, all joy on display
Reminding me it was right to love and adore
This time, love doesn't hurt me anymore

Sometimes it becomes so hard to explain
But these feelings I have will forever remain
Though I don't always show them, remember it's true
For you remind me, my heart you did accrue

Does it annoy you that over a thousand people have read this poem and no one has made a comment, I think you deserve that simple because your thoughtful poem got the message across of how love changes us and makes life that more wonderful worth a 5/5 Ray S
