Daemon Within

Pain in my skull
Clutching at puppet strings
Trying to escape
From an iron rusty cage

Within, I am hooked
To a lifeline of virtual reality
Wrapped up by worlds
Delusions of the future

I want you to speak to me
But I can't answer back
The tears will never come
Addiction stops you somewhere

My saviour's in my mind
Killing the aengel
Making me feel good again
My daemon within
