In your arms

by mckenzie   Aug 29, 2009

Rest, my love, in the bosom of the one
When the day has lost its meaning
Cradle my soul in the arms of the one
When worries are surrounding

I am broken
And I am afraid
Lost on a forgotton plane;
A desolate heart
Bleeding in pain

Lingering in the dark
Needing you to bring life to this void
Restore me
Lead me to breath again

Slowly drifting away
As I try desperately to reach you
I deny everything
Only to dream again

In your arms

Take me away
You are my strength
You are my life
The only place I long to be

In your arms

Although this is a love poem, it's not as typical as other love poems. It's unique, doesn't bore the reader, and the flow is smooth. liked it, 5/5 no doubt. Peace, W.
