Philophobia

by damaged rose   Aug 31, 2009

My breathing quickens, my heart pounds.
My hands sweat, my head bounces.
The hurt once caused, can't go back.
My heart broken, it gets wrecked.
The past mistakes, have made me stronger.
But the fear inside, suffering philophobia.

Philophobia: the fear of falling in love or being in love.

It hurts not to trust, not to give chances. Because of the past mistakes, because of the past pain that won't ever go away. Fear of falling once again, fear of crashing never to live. Past mistakes have made me strong but it is also made me afraid.
