Devastated

This emotion is too intense,
My life is fading into dreams,
Death is only a new suspense,
All around me are empty screams,

How could this happen to me?
My nostrils flare at the smell,
Blood trails as we all flee,
Insanity drowns my loudest yell,

The end is close to our faces,
Mocking our dreams of happiness,
There are no more safe places,
Just a path where we digress,

A pitch black sky is taunting,
All of the dark dreams to stay,
Even if I wake it is haunting,
Only this time I can't run away...
