Oh my goodness, this touches the core of my heart. I am not fan of dark poems, but this one i really like. I like how it is structured. It left me craven for the next part. Very well done 5/5, kel. |
This poem was well written. I guess what caught my eye was the fact that it was really sincere. It was dark, but I also liked that theme because I don't read many dark poems often. Favourite Part:Beneath these careless Stars of night |

This was amazing. I didn't mind the length at all because it was abstract and interesting and far from boring. The emotion was extremely powerful, and I think the shorter lines helped with this. |
I really enjoyed this poem though I must admit I was put off at first by its length, love the way you drew me in, how many of us have sat at night in dread of the next day when some event has blown us away, unable to find sleeps relief as our mind won't stop to let us. The parting and the realisation was well written though the end was a surprise I look forward to the follow on. Excellent poem which as you said took three reads to find the flow well worth it. 5/5 Ray S |
