but you don't know real pain

then u apologized
u drove a stake through my chest
then pushed it deeper with your lies
well i have some knowledge for you
you didn't heal the damage u caused
all you did was make me callous
and remind me what pain was
you covered the whole you made
then told me how amazing i am
that you just couldn't believe i was still there
well considering
so i sat and waited
for my day to come along
and you thought i still wanted you
but that was so far gone
you always thought i still cared
but truthfully i couldn't care less
i stayed so i could find solace
and leave you in my past
i see you now in so much pain
and all i can do is smile
because slowly but surely I'm getting mine
