Devine Confrontation

by Anton   Sep 8, 2009

I looked to God, and I said I Hate you,
He raised his arms and Hugged me.
Pulled me close, near his heart
So tight did he embrace me.

I cried out to God Why do you hurt me?
A tear did stream down his cheek.
He thrust me forward and did cry out,
You're heart Is what I seek.

He said my Child you misunderstand,
My love is greater than you perceive.
It transcends time, space and circumstance.
Into your heart it seeks to weave.

How can you see me in your sadness,
If your Sadness is all you wish to see.
How could you Blame me for your hurt?,
When I HURT so you could be with me.

To me you are my Children,
The greatest Treasure of MY creation.
I Have suffered Lived and Died,
To pave the way to your salvation.

I am your God In all my Glory,
And for your heart I yearn so deeply.
I reach out my hands with blood drenched wrists.
And cry out, my child come unto me swiftly.

I reeeally love this piece. This is absolutely beautiful. This is something that you don't see much anymore. I definitely appreciate your faith and the fact that you showed how much respect you have for him. This is probably on my favorites list. I love poems about God :)
