Until The Rain Is Through

by kia   Sep 9, 2009

So abused and far too confused
Trying to let go
Yet so desperate to hold on
Just unable to move forward
So many problems
Hidden beneath too many issues
Far easier to hurt
Far harder to cry
No solutions I can find
No quick ways out
A long journey behind
A longer journey ahead
Help is at hand
But of no benefit to me
They're unable to help
As this lesson is for me
There will be no breaks
As relief is not free
A fight through the day
War all through the night
No back up is to come
My odds are a million to one
But you must have heart
Even if failure has won
For every new day is a new chance to fight
For every next night is a war yet to begin
Fighting for the right to cry
To smile with out shame
This soldier must continue to battle
As there is too much to stake
Too much to gain
Never give up
Never loose faith
As one day too far to see
When the war is over
And the soldier has won the fight
The battle will be done
All lessons will be learned
My world will come to see
I too can be the rainbow
After the rain is through

Oh hey, when the title itself, I remember how I used to compare all my sorrows with rain.

Hey, I like the way you wrote it, I can exactly remembered how I feel when the rain started to pour and after. ;D

Thanks for sharing this piece of your writing. Keep it up!
