Mikey, Baby Mikey

He finally lays her back and says
"Don't worry, you'll be fine.
I've done this with your kind before,
My virgin dear, its time."

He finally gets it over with
And drifts into such glee.
Without regards to himself,
or his behavior recklessly.

And as one day, she sat alone
Sobbing in her tears.
A minute passed and then two more
And then the word's so clear.

Now she'd always have a piece of him
Even when she was alone.
In a crowded room or dark at night,
The blesséd bump would show.

But the baby wouldn't make it,
We all knew the same.
That if she ever carried term,
She would forever be to blame.

Though secretly she wanted this,
So she could forever have her piece.
Her place in his heart, and burn in his mind,
But her pain, he never would cease.

Wow, so many people do this. I mean abort a baby for fear of what their partner may think/say. Wonderful yet sad, 5/5. Em
